SOLVED!

Transparent objects in interior elevations

Hello!
Is there any way to make 'object' fills transparent in 2D interior elevation views?

Goal is to see bathroom tile layouts + an outline of sink, bathtub etc. It seems to work in plan view, but not in elevation. Can't seem to get it working with override settings or elevation view settings. Attached some screenshots.

Elevations use the 3D properties of an object, so you could try overriding the materials of your fixtures to be air or something similar.

Alright! I had tried with glass before, which didn't make it fully transparent. But now, with ''air'' it works perfectly. Thank you.

There is a more elegant way to do this using Graphic Overrides.

First make sure your interior elevation settings has the "Transparent" checkbox checked.
Then build a Graphic Override that has all settings turned off and the "Surface" checkbox checked. Then set the Surface to "Air"
You can use all the filters to include/exclude items affected as usual.

In the example below the millwork has been excluded and is not transparent, while the equipment has turned transparent to see the outlets behind the equipment.
