Hello, I have a problem with the saved section view display in Archicad 28; it never happened in Archicad 27. When I open the saved section, it initially displays with floor plan settings, and only upon reopening does it display correctly. This also happens with elevations and when I'm switching opened tabs. If I open the section twice, it displays correctly, then I open the floor plan tab, and when I go back to the section or elevation tab, it displays with the floor plan setting.
Also, it happens in every file I open in Archicad 28. Any advice? Thank you.

Have not really used 28 yet, but they did change a bunch of default shortcuts, so if you are using a shortcut to switch between windows, maybe check those to see if they have been swapped around.

Are you sure you are opening views from the view map and not view points from the project map?
Can you show an image of your tab bar?
There may be clues there.

Hello,
I open the ground floor and section from the view map:
When I click twice on a section in the view map, it opens without an exclamation mark. If I change to the floor plan tab or open floor plan in view map, then go back to the open section, section view settings change also.
- section before clicking the floor plan tab:
- switching back to the section tab after opening the floor ground tab.
This affects opening views from the view map and when switching tabs, like it is coping view setting from floor plan to section or elevation.

As Ling asked, how are you switching between tabs?
Just clicking on them should not change their settings.
If you double click the tab with the exclamation mark, does it disappear?

I just click one time on tab and two times when opening a section in view map and that changes settings. I am opening view maps from the Organizer palette, if that matters. This is also happening on my work colleague's computer. We both installed a new Archicad last week, and since then we have had this problem.
I fixed problem by clicking window-Palettes-Show Main Palettes only, than i turn on Organizer again. I don't know why that helped, but it worked on both computers.

I am not sure why that worked either.
But I would use the Navigator rather than the Organiser.
I only open the Organiser when I need to 'organise' new views as it is easy to drag between the split dialogues.
While working i have just the Navigator on - gives you more screen space as well.

I believe that if you double click on a tab that has a (!) it restores the view.
