A couple of beginner questions..

1) I tried placing a door, used the Door Selection Settings to find a glass windowed door, etc. But in 3d view, it's showing as a plain grey door instead of the windowed one I've selected. I also can't see any controls to modify texture or color. What am I missing?

2) How do I modify wall vertexes in 3d view? Or in elevation view? I can only seem to move the wall piece as a whole.

1). Look at the Model View Options regarding the Level of Detail settings for doors and windows.

2). you can not change the shape of a wall - it is always a rectangle.
You can stretch the length or the height with the pet palette options.
You can also add a node to the base reference line to break the wall in two or curve it.
But to slope the wall for example you have to trim (connect) it to a roof or use Solid Element Operations.
