ArchiCAD11 Compatible Laptops

I am in the process of looking for a new Laptop to run ArchiCAD 11.

I have a budget of £700 - £750 and want to ensure that i get a machine that will run ArchiCAD and its rendering/ 3D features as good as possible!

I would also like it to have sufficient output to connect to an additional Monitor (HD).

Could anyone recommend any machines that will do this for a price there or there abouts?

Check the Archicad Hardware requirements. And then add 50%.

Never enough memory - double it.

i have been reading through all the threads and still cant figure out what laptop to buy.

1- Our office can olnly spend around $1,000-$1,000.
2- Our office is all running XP so that bring down the choices right there.
3- Leaning toward and HP or Toshiba.

Any models you all suggest from those guys?
