ArchiCAD12 OpenGL problem ATI Mobility HD4670

Hello,

please help. Brought new MSI GX623.
____
Intel Core 2 Duo P7350, Penryn, 2.0 GHz,
DDRII-800 4 GB,
ATI Mobile Radeon HD 4670 512 MB DDR3 (Dynamic 1280 MB)
___

In FLY mode with OpenGL it goes very slow. When i Fly closer to the object it slows veeeery veeeeeryyy much. I can't work. When I switch to Internal Engine - works fine.
*My object - four walls and a slab.

Maybe you already know that problem? Or this is only bad drivers?
I have installed the newest drivers from ATI (catalyst).

Thanks.

Check "ignore hardware acceleration in 3D" option in View/3D View mode/3D window setting/OpenGL settings. Restart ArchiCAD. See if it fixes the problem. (This will force ArchiCAD in software-OpenGL mode)

This is just a troubleshooting step to determine if the driver is the problem. Most likely it is.

Try an older driver or try playing with driver settings.

Thanks for the reply.

I have changed all like you said and nothing. (Ignore hardware acceleration in 3D)
But I found something else
When I uncheck TEXTURE everything goes very well.
In that case I can work with my 3D model in OpenGL mode, but without textures.
Maybe You have more ideas how to fix the problem?

Thank's.

Do you know some more ways how to solve this problem?

Or maybe, do you know how to check if my video card is supported by ArchiCad?

Thanks.

Go to this page: ArchiCAD-Talk Forum Index, near the bottom of the page is a link to Video Card Database.
