ArchiCAD is dropping a file
vpd.properties
in the user home directory

1) can this file be deleted?
2) can ArchiCAD drop this file on an other place? (by default)
version 12 and 13 set it there, but I don't want that mess there...

Thanks!
Now I am sure that everything is OK if I delete that file

The VPD.properties is a log file for the install of ArchiCAD. It is also used by the Hotfix to locate where ArchiCAD, BIM Server and BIM Server manager resides on your system. By deleting it you may run into issues when trying to apply a new hotfix to ArchiCAD.

Thanks for the tip, but the last hotfix didn't have trouble.
I will remember if I have some trouble later.

I only wish Graphisoft did it in the library and not under the home directory

Well to date never had an issue. After all it is just a log file.
