MacOSX, OpenGL & AC11 - severe display problem

Has anyone else had one's Mac's screen going totally crazy while viewing 3D in AC11 with OpenGL?

I upgraded my MacBookPro to OSX 10.5. After using it for a couple of hours the display went totally mixed up.

Restart helped for this, but when it occurred constantly, I decided to downgrade back to 10.4.11.

Now the OS doesn't get that jammed, but I still get some annoying blinking when using 3D window in AC11 with OpenGL acceleration.

My computer had its motherboard replaced just a month ago so I wouldn't assume it's a hardware related problem.

Yes, but i'd still like to know, why am I getting this kind of blinks every 3 seconds with orbit mode in AC11 3D-window. It's OSX 10.4.11 now.

Yes, I too have suffered this strange behaviour: I have no idea of the cause, nor the detailed technical solution, but what worked for me, to date, is to re-install AC11 with a direct hotfix to version 1114 (ie bypassing intermediate hotfixes).

Might work for you........good luck
