pasting ... so slow

Why pasting (ctrl+v) is so slow?!?! Even two lines from one story to another ...
Very frustrating!!
AC 19 and AC21 latest hotfix

I remember pasting slowness.
This may not be your situation but who knows:

I think the reason was Microsoft Office, maybe Word, maybe some other program.
What I did is I went to Word, typed one character, selcted it, copied it to the Clipboard, pasted it back into Word.
Then, when I went back to ArchiCAD pasting was fast again.
I could never really figure out why this happened. And I don't even know how I found this solution.

I often find it slow (the copy part) when I have version 12 open together with newer versions.
I still script in version 12 (lowest common denominator) while running newer versions at the same time and copying text in the scripts often pauses for a couple of seconds.
Having just 12 running on its own there seems to be no problem.

So it could well be a combination of programs (Archicad or not) that you have running at the same time causing the issue.
