printing to a KIP 3000

Whenever I print to a KIP 3000, crosshatching does not print correctly (i.e. a tile floor in a round room prints out segmented instead of complete coverage.) This could be a deal killer to my company...Please help!

We've got one. Try plotting instead of printing.

Thanks Tom for such a quick response. Forgive me but I'm not real experienced with ArchiCAD. Are you saying plot to file then print as a PDF or something?

Archicad has a command for "Print" and a command for "Plot." I've found that using the Plot command to send straight to the Kip 3000 gives better looking drawings than the Print command does.

The process is no different, you just use a different command.

Do you have a KIP *.GPD? KIP is not listed in the available plotters list.

We just use the HP DesignJet 800 driver. It works perfectly.

Thanks again Tom!

I've selected the HP 800 as my plotter and put in the IP address. The plot job seems to go somewhere but no output from the KIP. What am I missing?

I hate to say it, but that's no where near enough information. It depends on the how the plotter is configured internally and how it is referenced on the network. It could probably be dozens of things.
