GS has been having download problems and if the package does not download fully you will not be able to install it.

As shown in your screen shot, the file size is 205 MB, but your download shows 77.4 KB, so the entire file has not been downloaded. Try Eduardo's advice to get the entire file.

This is so frustrating, just trying to get the program to work, update it and download the "add-ons".

So far today I have tried to download the AC17 HOTFIX 1, 2 AND 3... they will not complete the download in order to be able to install them. someone in the forum told me to get the Progressive Downloader which I did, but don't know how it works...do you.

I downloaded that progressive downloader...HOW DOES IT WORK? Have it installed, but what then...when I push "download" on the Graphisfot site, it defaults to the "download" on my computer...

Had to remove the downloaded AC17 and all reference to AC17 from my computer, reboot to make sure nothing was there, remove all downloaded "updates" from same computer, make sure, then load AC17 from the CD purchased for situations like this, then the download finally worked after 10 attempts, and now AC17 has HOTFIX2 (4005) installed. Now on to HOTFIX 3...hope it is less painless...lost a full day to this fiasco.

Looks like you need to retry and it is not your problem it might be on GS side of things. I sent a PM with the information to the downloader.

We have uploaded the most recent Hotfixes for ArchiCAD 17 and 16 to a new server which should hopefully alleviate the troubles described here. Sorry to hear about the frustration. North American users, let us know if you are still experiencing a download problem. http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archicad/USA.html
