Issue Management and Model Comparison Improvements

Better issue management and sorting with custom defined type tag that works with BCF too. Review the issue history faster, as Archicad will only highlight the changes. 

More accurate change management: Model Compare recognizes modified openings. Assign openings to issues if needed.

Now available as a commercial-quality solution, upgrading the technology preview version released for Archicad 23. 

The Archicad-Solibri Connection add-on provides fast and automated code- and constructability checking. The updated add-on automatically detects and sends only changed elements of the Archicad model, resulting in faster round-trip collaboration.  

BCF-based issue reporting was introduced to this workflow, enabling designers to assign the detected issues or solve them later. 

This add-on allows fast BIM updates and use of Solibri while working in a real-time design scenario. You no longer need to save the files and upload them between programs. Simply design, check and amend as needed. 

New in this version:  

• Fully aligned with Archicad 24's Issue Manager functionality 
• Compatible with BCF 2.1 
• Improved feedback and information on Solibri Connection palette.  

The Archicad-Solibri Connection for Archicad 24 add-on is localized to all Archicad language versions. It works with Archicad Solo, but is not available with Archicad START Edition.

Benefits for users:

• Users will be able to transfer IFC-based data between Archicad and Solibri much faster.
• They can reach the desired quality of the model easily.
• They can continuously synchronize the changes and check the status of the model regularly.

RFA and RVT Geometry Exchange Add-on for Archicad 24

IFC Model Exchange with Archicad is a free add-in for Autodesk Revit. The add-in improves the IFC model-based and bi-directional data exchange between GRAPHISOFT Archicad and Autodesk Revit.

IFC Model Exchange with Archicad add-in has three functions:

• “Improved IFC Import” imports IFC models to Revit using extra features that improve the interpretation of architectural models;
• “Link IFC” merges IFC models into the current Revit project as a non-editable reference;
• “Export to Archicad” exports Revit model elements in IFC files that are specially enhanced for use in GRAPHISOFT Archicad.

BIMx Lab on Android

The first public release of BIMx Lab is already accessible in Google Play Store.

BIMx Lab app delivers the next-generation 3D engine for BIMx, GRAPHISOFT's mobile BIM communication tool. This technology preview app aims to eliminate the BIM model size limit, prevalent on mobile devices, and collect user feedback for fine-tuning the technology for all BIMx apps.
You can access productivity functions in BIMx Lab that are available otherwise only in the paid BIMx Pro version. All of those are free in BIMx Lab for a while, as we are planning to maintain BIMx and BIMx Lab apps side by side until BIMx Lab will deliver at least the same stability and quality. Then the new BIMx Lab engine will be merged into BIMx.
