Adjust Door Sizes

Chris Pooley
Enthusiast

Hi,

I am trying to figure out what I need to adjust to change the Wallhole Height for the Double Door 25 tool?

The door leaf's will be 820mm x 2040mm - I want the wallhole height to be 2100mm.

I thought I would adjust the frame and leaf, but when I change the values here, nothing happens to the wallhole sizes.

Thank you.

Operating system used: Windows 10

You choose what you want displayed as the nominal size.

In this case you have set the wallhole

All the other sizes will be in relation to this.

You need to set the opening oversize (currently 0) and the frame thickness.

These will be deducted from the wallhole and leave you with the leaf size.

This applies to both the height and the width.

So I would set the overall wallhole height

Set the correct frame thickness and then adjust the oversize to make the door leaf size you want.

This oversize gap will be filled with a frame packer and covered with the frame trims.

Unfortunately this means you have to do a little math to get the wallhole and door leaf size you want.
