I'm trying to make this chair object and don't know how to get the hight difference back to front. Can someone please help. Thank you

Are you talking about the seat itself? If you really need to show a slope for that, I would use a Roof or a Mesh, no SEO required. For the backrest, you have currently used a Wall to model it? If that is the case, I would use a Roof to SEO the top off.

You could SEO it, or use a rotated Shell with a canted side.
