Scaling objects

Isn't there a way to scale an object to each stories scale? The problem is that the object was drawn on 1:1 and then saved as a object, but once it is placed on a 1/4" = 1'-0" then of course the text is right but the drawing is still 1:1. How can I correct this?
Thanks,

Ideally, you should make the object at 1:1 scale.

Then, make the first line MUL2 GLOB_SCALE, GLOB_SCALE, which multiplies the entire object by the current scale.

Otherwise, you could use GLOB_SCALE / (whatever scale you made it at) to adjust for the same thing.

Waitwaitwait ...

What do you mean by storey scale?

EVERYTHING has to be 1:1. The scale is for representation only.

You problem might be that the object is not scale sensitive, or that it is scripted as not scale sensitive (e.g it keeps the "printed size" - for example, title blocks)

Can you clarify?
