Hi,
A friend of mine activated the trial version even though she is a student. Now the trial version time ended and she doesn't know how to activate the Edu license properly.
The window is like: "Your trial license expired!" - Find your local revendor / exit / enter demo mode
How to proceed?

The only way to open a file on a trial version that has expired is to buy AC.
If she erased AC and reinstalled IIRC the file is lost since the Trial ties the file to that specific installation of AC at that particular computer.
She should get in contact with the reseller to see if buying a monthly license can let her change the file from Trial to full, then when the month expires she can install the EDU version and continue working there.

Hi Eduardo,
Yes, about the file I understand and have already advised her, the problem is literally running Archicad on Edu mode.
thanks!

To run on EDU mode she needs to install AC again (she can use another folder to avoid overwriting the Trial one) and IIRC select the serial number option and then input her EDU serial number.
You can have two or more installations of AC without issues.
