I' ve been searching for the whole day now:
How can I make a an individual 3D Grid in order to work more efficient in ArchiCad 3D?
I found this tutorial about a Pyramid on ArchiWiki:
http://www.archicadwiki.com/Pyramids
BUT:
Now I am again stuck at the very beginning: How can I find the basic Module, called the " little Pyramid" in the ArchiCad Library?
Where can I find this Object?
I found the Basic Solid-Object called, "Pyramide gedreht_16" ( in english: Pyramid rotatable)
But this Pyramid seems to work with at least 4 sides only!
Is this possible? I cannot find any Tetraeder = Tetrahedron? Be it as a Grid (preferred!) or as a solid? I mean this is the most basic Element to create anything in 3D.
Can some of you help? I would highly appreciate

Thanks in advance!

My English International version has a pyramid capable of making a tetrahedron [6 edges- 4 faces] "Pyramid 16." I can send it to you if you really can't make yours work.

This would be great.
Actually a also have the International Version but if I choose 4 sides (3 is not possible) at the Parameters I will get a 5 sided Pyramid ( a square in plan)
Maybe i made a mistake and you can also tell me what Parameters you click? Thank you!

Well, I input "3" sides to get a tetrahedron. They think in plan view in Budapest, i guess.
Look in your registration email for the element.

Anyway thanks Dwight.
And still would be great if ArchiCad would provide the 3D Grid or in more Abstract Elements /Tools to be more flexible in general (after all, big step done with the morph tool!)
