You should contact your reseller. They will be able to tell you when it will happen.

Hi,
Just downloaded AC 23 on my Mac. All is great except it appears that the mouse "Zoom" option does not work as in the previous version. I use the 'Magic Mouse' -Apple, till AC 23 successfully. Checked the mouse settings, zoom enabled with a double tap on the mouse , but it does not work in ArchiCad. Am I missing something or is it a bug?
Thanks,

Well... As it turned out, I did miss something. I have had a lapse of about 10 years actively using ArchiCAD and are now just getting back into it again. Forgot about Work Environment and did not properly set up my mouse under the setting; Mouse Constraints.. So there we go. Now that I set up my Zoom and Pan functions -all is well!

Installed ARCHICAD 23 INT (3003-1.2) on MacOS 10.14.6, but upon launching it just crashes, never starts, not even the startup splash screen.
Please help.

Thanks.

Hi,

I have a project I started in v.22 that I have now saved in v.23. I'm having problems while working in 3d. For example, I can't get the commands in the Pet Palette, such as 'Drag' or 'Offset Edge' to work in the X,Y direction; the Z direction seems OK. I can enter a distance value, but not use the mouse to make changes. This means I can't stretch a roof edge or create a Morph.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jb

Great news that AC23 is released! But why would anyone jump into a new version of AC with an active project started in the previous version is beyond me; especially on the Mac OS which changes more often now then it ever has!!!

It is just good practice to start a new or existing project on a new version of AC after at least the first update has been released.

I use that time to set up a new template while Graphisoft starts to work out new bugs. Now that Catalina is soon to be released, I wont start using AC23 on a real project until Graphisoft releases at least 1 update after Catalina is released.

For what its worth.......

Couldn't agree with you more! We never upgrade a project that's been started in an older version. Too many issues. My pet hate with Archicad is that it sometimes opens a project in a newer version when you don't want it to, and it will only tell you when you want to save it!
