All fills are solid problem

Hello all,

I'm having a strange problem. Everytime I try to draw a fill with the fill tool, no matter what fill I select, it is allways displayed as a solid fill. When I try to select the fill in the toolbar above the drawing, it is displayed as solid as well in the little box. But in the bigger box where you select the fill, all fills are displayed like they should be.
I only have the problem in the project I am working on, because when I make a new project, the fills behave correctly.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Maybe it is some setting I don't know about?

Thank you in advance!

Couple ideas I have:

Check in your Model View Options to see that in the Fill Section of the Settings it is not set at "Solid."

Also check that the "Fill Background" Pen is transparent, or window background.

Thank you for your reply.
I've found the problem elsewhere however. It turns out the colors of the background pen and the foreground pen of the fills were the same, and hence I couldnt see anything. Quite silly of me to overlook this, but I'm glad it's not something thats less easy to fix.

Best wishes
