ArchiCAD USER Small Office STANDARDS

Anonymous
Not applicable
No where can I find what all large offices with an IT staff have. AC standard set-ups for a small office...one that does mostly houses or project up to 25,000 sq.ft. I understand that a lot can be personal, but.....where does one start, what is there that is possible et. etc....
SO my question is there a smaller user set of set-up standards available for AC 10 ?
Thanks Paul

if you're looking for something 'out-of-the-box' there is eric batte's standard template system here:

http://www.getstandardized.com/page14/page14.html

otherwise, talk to specialist archicad consultants: i believe matthew lohden is somewhere in your area . . .

templates are a very specialised breed: people don't realise just how much goes into them (particularly directors who have little involvement with CAD anyway), and how long they can take to set up. and once all that is done you'll have to train staff on how to use it in order to get the most of of it. that may require thoroughly teaching completely new working methods . . .

look out! it's a huge topic once you begin to delve into it . . .
