Automatic section markers on elevation

Is it possible to auto reference a section on an elevation? We cut sections on the plan and auto reference them in plotmaker. But we'd like to also auto reference them on the corresponding elevation. Can this be done? I'd rather not have to do them by hand on the elevations. Seems a little archaic. And the project is huge so automation is my friend.
We're using version 9 right now. (i'd be also curious to know if it can be done in 10).

Thanks

It would be nice, but neither Archicad 9 nor 10 can do this.

I was just looking in 10 and also noticed that you can no longer use the detail tool in elevations/sections. Is that correct?

Sure you can. Why wouldn't you?

Because I'm an idiot. We're still not using 10 but for little things, so I'm just looking at it in my free time and just not used to the new pallettes (so I was thinking the zone tool was the detail tool and it was grayed out when i was looking at a section). Oops. I should have thought a little more before posting! Thanks.

Here it is. (I'd guess a section in a section is the same as section in an elevation) I wish it was easier to search for existing wishes

I'd be happier if it were easier to search in general!

The grid tool works pretty well in 10. Maybe that would be a help in the meantime.

I guess I'm one of the old school who thinks over-referencing leads to coordination problems and mistakes. It's a little better with full automation, of course, but I can see just one failure to update in one location could create additional liability.
