Building Envelope

Afternoon All,

Just curious how everyone models their building envelope (shows the Hight in relation to the boundary (HIRB) and maximum height)

In the past we have used CAdimage - Site > Building envelope. However in New Zealand with the implication of our Unitary Plan, we have a semi-complex shape for our HIRB (refer to image below).

Just trying to figure out the best way to model this. How would you model this?

Hello,

A quick thing I could think of is using 3D elements such as roofs or slabs to generate your angles. You need to make sure they are parallel to your boundaries so that they show the true projection of the HIRB planes.

Hope this helps.
