Create a aerial floor view

Hello,

I'm a architecture student and I'm working on a project with two plants, in three floors.

1. Ground floor
2. First floor
3. Roof

All roof are plan.

I want to create a view with the roof view, including environment. But I am only able to create a view of the first floor or the third one. What I want is to see all roofs, and the environment.

All environment is placed in ground floor.

How can I do that?

Thank you!!!

Hi Diana,

I think the easiest way the last method.

"a parallel top view in the 3D Window, and then make a 3D-Document with shadows".

How to get shadows.

AC13 does not support shadows in OpenGL.
You'll need to find the workaround that fits your style.
Here are three options:

1) render the orthogonal top view in LW, save jpg, place as figure on layout.
2) work in Internal Engine mode and turn sun shadows on.
3) if simple geometry, draw fills for the shadows.

EDIT: The added plan is as you say the easiest. The advantage of the model view + layer combo;
it is generic and works with any roof configuration. The added roof plan view is specific to that roof arrangement.
So if you use this file as the basis for a template, then the next job requires that you remember to open the layout
and reshape or recreate an appropriate second roof view.
The MV+LS will just be there and be correct - no remembering to set it up again.
(Presuming you have separate template for small project vs large one.)
