Trying to switch on the gravity tool but it seems to be completely blocked. Any ideas?

You have to select the wall, column, beam or object tool first.

I think they are the only ones that allow for gravity.

Thanks Barry. Though it needs to be switched on also to be able to select and edit text. Anyway, it is completely inactive also when I select a wall, column or beam. It might be a bug.

When you mention edit text in the context of the Gravity tool, it comes with the thought that we are talking about different tools, because Gravity tool only affects newly created elements (Walls,Columns,Objects ect.) and cannot be used for editing existing ones. Also this tool makes associative Level Dimensions with Roof, Shell, Slab and Mash elements.

In any case, make sure that you are on Plan or 3D, because on Elevations and Sections this tool is not active.

As Andrii mentioned, gravity can only be used when placing a new wall, beam, column or object.

It can not be used on existing elements.

There is no gravity option for text.

The level dimension tool automatically gravitates to element top surfaces in plan (not all elements such a walls, columns or beams though).
