Handrail connection issues - U shaped stair with 2 landings

I have a U-shaped stair that starts on the main floor with a flight to a landing, then a riser to another landing, and a another flight that ends at the second floor. The railing is associative and for the life of me I can't get the handrail connection at the U to connect properly. It also display incorrectly in the plan view. I need it to run continuously from main floor to second floor.

Any ideas?

I rather prefer to use non-associative (static) railing to use for the stair - just to avoid such situations, when ArchiCAD by default cannot figure out needed connection.
