Help with custom wall

Anonymous
Not applicable
Just wanted to know if this is possible.

I am doing a wall, which is 2400mm high. And what I want is the first 500mm to be normal plasterboard, but then the top 1900mm to be weatherboards. Is there a way to achieve this without using two different walls sitting on top of each other or is that the logical solution?

Ive been using a fill to make the weatherboards currently, but since these are more presentation drawings, I'd like the shadow to be shown correctly and not covered by a fill.

Read up the help files on "complex profiles". These should do what you need.

nonco:

This can be accomplished by creating a Complex Profile. In the Help files see: Elements of the Virtual Building > Construction Elements > Place a Wall/Column/Beam with a Complex Profile > Creating or Editing a Complex Profile Element.
