I think we will need more information.
Maybe an image of what you are trying to do.
Doors and windows will automatically cut holes in walls - these can be just empty openings.
Beams will automatically subtract from a wall - you can hide the layer the beam is in and the cut will remain in place.
Or you can use any 3D element (i.e. 3D text object) and use Solid Element Operations to perform the cuts - again hide the layer of the operator that is doing the cutting.
