How can I edit or create autotext?

I have done searches several times to no avail. I want my date stamp on the title block to say " December 16, 2011". The 'date(short)' autotext is 12/16/2011 the 'date(long)' autotext is Friday, December 16, 2011. I want what is in between the two. Sounds simple enough, but having no luck changing/editing the autotext to do this. Is this possible or am I missing the forest for the trees? Thanks for any advice here. And yes, I am still on AC 11.
