What is the easiest way to clear the terrain in between walls?

I tried with Solid Elements Operation but that's not that easy...

I would select the Foundation as operator, the Mesh as Target and would use Subtract with Upwards Extrusion as operation.
That way even ground vertically above the Foundation will be removed.

In this case that would leave a gap in the ground just outside the brick wall above the foundation.

What about using a composite wall with a solid white fill for the air space?
But this means the wall will appear as a solid block when viewed in 3D.

Just add an additional construction element (slab, roof, wall whatever) on a hidden layer and use it as the SEO operator. It does mean a little bit more overhead keeping things in alignment but it is not too bad and solves your issue.
