Junction between existing and proposed slabs

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have an existing slab and a proposed slab that abut. I'd like to have it so that there is no visible junction between them on the floor plan.

Is there a way to do this that I'm missing? They're both level, don't overlap, the same material.

Having searched google/the help pages (https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/user-guide/65246/#XREF_76545_Intersecting) I'm drawing a blank.

I"m in Archicad 20 SOLO.

Thanks in advance for any pointers

Unfortunately with slabs, there will always be a join in plan (2D).
All you can do is cover the join with a white line or add a fill over the entire area.

Thanks for letting me know so quickly Barry.

I was just going to ask about the graphic override for the renovation filter but I've just spotted the tick box to switch it off for annotation items.

Thanks for your help.

It is an annoying thing I find with thickness changes in your slab. You end up breaking the composite into a structure layer and a finish layer so that you do not get a dividing line...

I did that for a while, but then realised it sometimes is less work to draft a small fill over the line.

Maybe one day we will be able to merge slabs like we can merge roofs.
