Railing Tool - Can't get balusters to touch stair tread

Hello!

I am new to the wonderful world of Archicad. I am working on a project that has a stair with Revolved Post 26 ballusters. They were made with the associative setting on, and after they are placed the balusters do not touch the stair tread as hoped. How do I get them to touch the treads? I tried to go in and "Edit" the rail, but the nodes are all joined together so I can not pull just one element at a time. When I try to move them down, they are all linked on an angle so they cut each baluster in a different way and it looks really funky. Are there specific settings that need to be set before I place the stair? Please help!

Thank you!
