Are you looking for something like this?

Complex profiles should work. There isn't any option to make complex profile slabs, but you can use profiled beams instead.

If you don't have this menu;
1. Install the Accessories Goodie via the Graphisoft downloads page
2. Load the Accessories library which will be in your Archicad program folder (C > programs > Graphisoft)

There is a object in there that gives you some control over the core of the slab, though I don't know if it will do exactly what you need.
You might be able to find other Slab Accessory objects for download, but I am not aware of any because I have never searched for them.
If you know GDL it is quite easy to create your own Slab Accessory, just like wall and roof accessories. i plan to create a very flexible one like my other tools but haven't made time for it yet.

Too bad GS sacked this technology. It could actually be quite great, but by saying this is based on legacy code and is not supported they scared away the users. So I assume there really won't be any other accessories around. (You still can make them, true, but is there any kind of documentation available? I know that Heimo Mooslechner did a great wall accessory....)

Still, so many good things could be done so well with the accessories. They deserve some love.
Or a potent successor.

I completely agree!
They provide fantastic opportunities to very easily develop highly intelligent tools without an API.
We should add this to the wish list.

I try not to use accesories because being legacy code it seems they may desappear any day, so I cannot risk to develop a workflow around its use, but there are some interesting functionalities there than haven´t been moved to new Archicad versions. So it would be nice of they got revamped or something.

Interesting. Still raised some good points; it would be so easy to do if we could rely on Accessory Tools, tied to complex profiles, though I am still yet to test complex profiles in GDL.

Regarding the fake question at hand. We approach this a bit more '2d'.

We a have layer on a separate intersection group for this specifically and draft the holes and joints in a complex profile for beams. Copy the beams around, stretch them to match the slabs and your sections will show what you want to see. Keeps the poly count reasonably low too. You can schedule the beams for the individual slab lengths and numbers if so desired.
