Renovation filter & wall types

Am using a non-composite wall type (just empty fill with an arbitrary width in the dialogue box). When the override filter is set to solid fill and the settings are correct, the wall shows up as empty fill, but is filled wherever there is a door opening.

Can anybody else duplicate this or am I missing a setting someplace. It works fine with a composite wall.

Thanks.

Does the door have a masking fill turned on?

It did, turned it off, so took care of the door part of the problem. The other part of the problem (wall not filled in per the override) is not resolved however. I could turn on the fill in the empty fill (it's now set at window background) but that would mean the override does nothing to this type of wall.

I think if the background fill pen is the "window background color", then the override won't work. This can be a useful feature too, but it is confusing. Try setting the pens to a white pen instead in the wall settings.

Also, I think if the cut fill is one of the "solid" fills, the renovation feature won't do anything to override them.
