Roof showing pink - want to show black

I have a roof that displays pink and i want to show it black. any ideas?

Have you checked it's renovation status (under tags & categories)? pink colour may be due to renovation filter.

Actually, your Roof may be on the Story above, and Trace Reference is set to show the Story above, plus Trace Reference color is set to that pinkish-purpleish color.

The renovation filters didnt change anything to do with the line colour and its not a trace reference

A long shot but perhaps it has something to do with teamwork reservation colors or project preferences legacy settings?

Mark-Up entries can change the color of elements.

Also, if a View is placed on a Layout as a Drawing and a different Pen Set is assigned to that Drawing, that can also change colors.

Also, inverted elements may also be displayed with a different color defined by the "Use uniform color to highlight inverted elements" in the On-Screen Options page of the Work Environment Dialog. That you should see that there is something wrong with the 3D geometry of that Roof.
