Shell Tool Bug. It will make AC 15 Crash

It happens on Mac OS when editing an existing Ruled Shell:

If you grab the hotspot of one of the profile lines and then move the User Origin to the first hotspot (to locate the second point of the profile at a desired distance) It will always make AC15 crash.

One more condition is necessary: The profile line must have only 2 points.

The workaround: (while it gets fixed)
A profile with more than 2 points will work well.
If you need to move the second point at a specific distance from the first point, first create a third point between the two extremes, then move the desired point.

Have you reported this through tech support so that it gets fixed?

(Folks: please do post any bugs like this that you find so that we are all warned about them - but also post whether you reported to tech support or not to avoid duplication.)

Thanks,
Karl

I have send a couple of Bug Reports.
I haven't send any direct to Tech Support. Would I send a direct e-mail for this?
I don't have contacts in Graphisoft US or Int at the moment.

I'm also picking up something related to mirrored hotlinks containing Shells.
I'm not sure what the problem is yet, the problem seems to appear and disappear randomly.
I will try to make it fail within certain conditions before call it a Bug.

If you edited the GS Bug Reporter and typed some text in describing what you did to cause the crash, your email, etc., then someone will be able to enter a full report in the system.

If not, contact tech support. Every region is different, but for US and Canada see:

Thanks and cheers,

It's probably related to this bug mentioned on the Wiki -

I love the temporary solution they suggest :
Try to avoid doing this!
