Turning the plaster in an opening

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have 2 different composite walls, one timber framed, one with masonry.

I have a window in the timber framed composite, and the plaster turns nicely into the internal reveals.

When I copy the same window into the masonry wall, the plaster refuses to turn.

I've tried all the options: automatic plaster return on/off. Changing the maximum thickness of plaster etc. Also checking that the plaster has the same fill in each composite (does it need to be 'gypsum' to be recognised as plaster?) and that they have the same skin priority.

Can anyone suggest a reason for this behaviour?
