Unwanted lines in elevations

Tom Krowka

We seem to keep generating unwanted lines in elevations. There occur where slabs have been added to or changed. They will also occur where a wall inside the building comes in perpendicular to the outside wall. In this case, it appears to be the reference line that shows up in elevations.

Any help there?

Thanks, Tom

Also, the intersection between the floor slab and the wall that sits on it shows up in elevation as a horizontal line. Any way to make that disappear?

The slab side and the wall have to have the same material, and fit perfectly. This is a general rule. If you have different materials applied, the joint will be shown.

BTW, which ArchiCAD?

That would be in version 8.1. Thanks, that solved the problem.
