View Map Warning Icon?

Anonymous
Not applicable
All,

When I open View Map I occasionally see the Warning Icon next to one or more of the View Properties fields. When I hoover my mouse over one I get the following message...

"The settings in the frontmost window no longer correspond to the original view settings"

... is the a way to see what the original view settings were or a way to revert back to them in the event a change is made I don't want, need or expect? The warning comes up on settings like Pen Set, Reno Filter, and Zoom.

I can't make a screen shot of the actual screen because when I get off the Archicad screen the icon goes away. Odd.

Thanks,

Presume that you are referring to the TABs.
Usually zooming or panning on a defined view causes the warning to appear.
Double clicking on the TAB or right clicking and selecting "restore view" will remove it until your next pan or zoom.

For the View Map it usually means that you have changed the name of one of the attributes that define that view and since AC does not update that automatically then it gives a warning.
