If you just want to slope the top of the wall... an easy method
is to model a roof at the slope you want and trim the top of
the wall by using either "Solid Element Operations" or
"Crop to Single Plane Roof".

Cropping lets you delete the roof.

With S.E.O., you'll have to place the roof on a hidden layer.
But, works better if you need to adjust the slope.

you have to keep in mind though, that the SEO do not project properly in floor plan, so your slope goes under your cutting plane, your wall will not be altered in your view.
Long story short, SEO only works in 3d space and sections/elevations

I believe Marc Corney's solution of using the "crop at roof" is best for simple sloped walls. The article Laszlonagy references on SEOs works well if you need to sculpt a wall as is illustrated.

Revit allows users to modify the side elevation of a wall very easily. Not to compare, but why is this such a complex operation in Archicad? And furthermore, why do we learn from a user in a chat thread (Anestis) that the SEO wall does not display properly in plan view? Now I have to stop work on our first Archicad based project (again) and test the operation to understand the viewing limitations (tutorial referenced by laszlonagy should explain the limitations clearly), determine best practices for our office, implement solution in our office template (special layers for the SEO objects) and train staff on specific layer use for this operation. Sampson, I feel your pain.

Revit and ARCHICAD are different. Both have their strengths and weaknesses and both have things they do better than the other (although after many many hours of studying Revit it is my firm belief that overall ARCHICAD is the better application for an architect - which doesn't mean there are not things in Revit I would love to see in ARCHICAD too).

Several element types introduced or overhauled in the past several releases now offer true 3D Projected representation in the Floor Plan, including Roofs, Shells and Morphs. We are not there yet, however, so we need to continue to communicate to Graphisoft that this is something we believe all element types should be capable of. Until this are implemented, we need to adjust our working methods accordingly.

I agree with your reply laszlonagy, clearly since we chose Archicad after years of investment in Revit. No intention of hashing out another Archicad vs Revit thread here.

No pain at all, I LOVE archicad 18 especially the flexible application of the MORPH and for the past three days I have learn how to TRIM and I am moving to the most complex trimming. I had a chance to view some of the work done by REVIT users , there were a lot of screwed up and cover up like any others.
