Why can't bend radiuses be reduced lesser than pipe diameters in MEP Preferences dialogue?

Hello,

I am trying to reduce bend radiuses lesser than the pipe diameters in MEP preferences which would match manufacturer's products. Kindly refer to the picture of the form below.

However I can increase the diameter than that of the pipe but cannot reduce it than that of pipe.

For example if pipe dia is 100mm it is not possible to change the bend radius to 60mm. Archicad allows that in the MEP custom settings dialogue for Bend element. Please see the figure, where I have made radius to 51mm for 100mm dia pipe.

This causes a great inconvenience while routing.

Will someone show the way?
