cut fill for slabs

I am using slabs for right now for my Chimnies.
I want them to show up in plan with a cross hatch, or 25% Fill or what ever. Is there a way I can do this with out using a cover filll?
I dont want to use a cover fill because then my elevations and sections show up really busy, and they take a while to load.

I am thinking of something like when you sue walls, and you can say projected with over head, or cut only so you cn make the cut fill show becuase it IS being cut in plan, like my slabs are- they go from 0-0 to 30-0.

Cover fills don't show in elevation/section. Those views are based on the materials you assign to the surfaces of the slab.
