kind of family of wall in archicad?

Hi, I come to Archicad because my new office uses it. I use Revit before. I am very new so this is my dumb question: in Archicad there is kind of "family" of wall as the same in another BIM software? Like I have a A Wall, B Wall, C Wall with different thickness, I don't want to change thickness and material etc... of them one by one.

Now I am using this method: using Find, then filter by thickness, then change all, take time and this method looks not so BIM.

I have moved your post because it is a question about modelling and not a wish.

This is a very basic question - I would be asking your new office to provide you with some training.

You can of course go looking yourself, there is plenty of help in the Learn portal, the Archicad YouTube channel, the Archicad Help reference.

And of course search here in the Community.

Back to your question though.

You will want to investigate composite walls.

These have preset wall materials and thicknesses.

Your new office should have these all set up in a template - unless you are the one tasked with setting it up?

In addition to what Barry said, you should create favorites to each kind of wall the office uses.
