snapping important problem

Anonymous
Not applicable
I encounter a new bug, very disappointing for normal use of AC19.

After the last archicad patch (ArchiCAD-19-Update-4006),
the snapping system became completely mad.
If I try to click a ref point, for example to create shape of a polyline, it simply take a point beside the wanted ref point, apparently randomly.
I must wait for archicad drawn the "little blue circle" to validate the exact point... 2 sec for drawing this blue circle, performance of drawing is reduced drastically !

Have you an idea ?!

What you're experiencing is normal I think.
The number of ref point depends on the complexity of your drawing.
Maybe you should zoom in more to get the right ref point.

The little blue circle takes about 2 seconds to complete. Standard.
One second to start and one second to complete.
Under 'Options'-> 'Work Environment' -> 'Input Constraints and Guides...' you can set the time to start the blue circle.

You can also turn off 'Snap guides and Points' by clicking the main button in the toolbar.

When you mouse is over the point so the cursor shape is changed to a checkmark shape, simply press the Q key on your keyboard and the Snap Reference Point (the little blue circle) is immediately created.

I've found the new snap guide feature to be really really great when you need it and really really irritating when you don't. I highly recommend setting up a keyboard shortcut for switching it on and off on the fly.
