working "relatively" with tracker

howdy

having some issues with tracker in v11

here is what i have done in v9

- draw a line
- place the user origin at the end of the line
- select another object on the drawing
- type in (say) x 200, y 200 and the object moves to 200,200 from the user origin

i can also do this in v11 if i have tracker switched off

if i have tracker switched on.... when i enter x 200, y 200 the object only moves relative to its starting point... not to the user origin

is there a setting i am missing somewhere....

thanks in advance

I think you need to check the absolute/relative button in your Coordinates Palette, it should be up, without the deltas showing, to get the behavior you describe.

You should also check your Tracker settings (Work Environment > User Preference Schemes > Tracker and Coordinate Input > Coordinate input logic) there is a check box for "Show X-Y Coordinates relative to User origin in Tracker".

problem appears to be solved

uninstalled and reinstalled archiCAD

seems to work as expected

a drastic fix for a small issue..... but none of the settings that should have worked seemed to

is it just me..... or does it feel like we have made a small step forward and a few steps back with v11... not only in functionality/usability but also in stability

thanks
