The conclusion of a Graphisoft story

My journey through Archicad began in 1998 with version 6, at that time I was finishing my studies and I wanted to carry out a project to modify the urban center of my town, Nogales, Veracruz, México
I went to carry out the topographical survey and during the work I contacted the director of public works of the city council.I got a job thanks to my skills and on the previous anniversary of Graphisoft I told you about my anecdote.

Well this is the continuation of that story, 4 years ago the government of my town finally dared to modify the urban center with a project in the central park. Parque Miguel Hidalgo I Costilla.
The original project consisted of consisted of a building that housed 6 spaces for a restaurant and a paved esplanade with some fountains. It only had "one" façade since all the rest of the perimeter was going to be a mural and did not include green areas.

It did not convince me, so one Sunday afternoon I turned on the computer, opened Archicad and began to design a proposal.
I set out to contrast ideas on social networks, so I uploaded my proposal to Facebook, which was fully accepted, what's more, I dared to tag the Municipal President, Guillermo Mejia Peralta and the director of public works, Juan Felipe Sanchez Guzman.

I did the render with cinerender and the vegetation with the Archiradar trees.

The next day, around noon, I received a call on my cell phone, it was the Municipal President. I wonder if I was the author of the "project", confirm it and schedule an appointment to expose it, for this my idea had evolved more.

In the afternoon, I took advantage and took my computer to the director's office to present the project. I think that one of the greatest satisfactions that we have as architects who use Archicad is to see the amazement of people when they see the model, since that leaves no doubts to the imagination. The meeting went very well for me, since when I finished exposing they approved my idea.

For Final rendering take advantage of the link of Archicad with Twinmotion
You can download the model, I shared it as BIMx

Today it is already a reality, for me it was very satisfying to close the circle that I began in 2001 since my project could finally be carried out.

This is how the building was.

If one day they visit Veracruz, Mexico. Don't forget to visit Nogales, you are going to love it.
