I'm playing around with PARAM-O to create some basic objects instead of using GDL.
I'm trying to cut one BLOCK from another, same way as if using Subtract command in Solid Element Operations within Archicad.
Attached is what I have done but it does not cut the shape OUT. The DIFFERENCE commend creates an line outline around the edges (red line) exactly where it should, but SHAPE 1 remains whole, instead of having SHAPE 2 subtracted. SHAPE 2 is set to Visible=False.
Any advice?
PS. Any decent online resources on PARAM-O other than the online REFERENCE GUIDE?

Thanks!

I'll answer my own question in case it helps others.
I had to set both SHAPES to Visible=False. It seems that the output is visible so having one of the other shapes visible was doubling up. Or so is my understanding.

You need to change both of the blocks visibility to 'False' so they can't be seen any more and the difference shape remains as true so you only see the result.

I see you figured it out while I was experimenting.
I should have refreshed the post before I replied.
