Affected versions: ARCHICAD 20 and previous versions | Windows, macOS | Severity: workaround applicable | ID: 211094
Note: This issue is fixed in the Update 5025.
Issue
When zooming in/out, and using the Pan command with the
Pan button or a
shortcut on the keyboard, then placing or modifying an element, the 2D view can behave odd: the previous view appears behind the current one and the two views are interfering with each other as visible as on the screen shot above.
Cause
Panning with Pan command and with the middle-click on the mouse trigger different working methods in ARCHICAD, however the results look like the same. This why this issue doesn’t exist by using the mouse buttons.
Solution
There are two known workarounds for this issue:
- Restart ARCHICAD to temporarily fix the problem.
- Use only the middle-click to avoid the error appearing again.
