Sink schedule - Incorrect plan view

Hello,

We need to create a carved sink schedule containing the zone, the top view and the specification.

Our carved sinks are modeled with a segmented beam + complex profile.

However, when loading the plan preview, regardless to show the size of the element, it distorts

the plan view, making it unfeasible to dimension the element. Does anyone know if it is possible to view the element in the correct dimensions?

can you save them as an object and schedule that?

The plan preview of a beam is not the entire length of the beam.

It is a (1 meter?) sample representation of the beam.

I looks like it is squashing the entire length of a segmented beam into the preview length.

Probably because it is trying to represent the entire - I have never noticed or tried this before, so I am not 100% sure.

Maybe try a segmented column - I think the plan view will be accurate then.

Or convert to a morph or an object (as 4dProof mentioned).
