Synchronizing network share paths across platforms

If you plan to work from both Macs and PCs on the same projects, make sure that all external content is placed on a network drive that both platforms can access with the same path.
We store all of our projects and custom library parts on our file server which is a Windows SBS 2003.

From Windows the files are Z:\Projects\ProjectName where Z: is the network share for the "Data" share on our file server.

From Mac the same files /Volumes/Data/Projects/ProjectName where Data is the name of the same network share on the files erver.

I understand that they need to be the same, but how do I reconcile this difference in paths? Is it something that needs to happen in the OS or is it the way files/libraries are loaded within ArchiCAD?

I think that I am close with this: \\wfserver\data\projects\projectname but I am not sure how to make it work.

Thanks,
