Start screen shows images are all of the same project

This is the screen after the splash screen. How do I force the images to update? Or delete them so that it starts over?

Thanks!

They seem to come from the tab views open in the file at the time it was saved.

But I am not convinced they are coming from the actual file.

Rather I think they are stored in memory somewhere (user data files?) from when the file was last open.

The reason I say this is I am sure that I have seen images of things I have done but not actually saved.

For example I may have my template open and just experimenting modelling something.

I don't save the file as I don't want to change my template.

Next time I go to the start screen, the images show me those experiments.

I open the file and they are not there.

I am not 100% sure of this and one day I will look into it further.

But I am pretty sure those images come from the open tabs in the file and the Project Info Preview if you have saved one.

However as a quick test, I just opened a file that was showing me the project preview image, the plan an elevation and a 3D view of a cabinet.

I opened the file and the plan and elevation tab was there but no 3D view tab, and yes I have a project preview image.

So it does seem to remember views that were open while last working on the file and that are no longer open.

I don't know how you would control this if it is just sampling random views.

Barry.
