Door and Window

I have a file with hotlinked unit plans in an apartment complex.

Is there a way that allows me to have the common doors and window markers to show on the entire building, but the unit plan doors to not show in the main file?

And in my unit plan view map, I'll have the door markers shown.

At the moment, in the overall floorplan, the unit door markers are showing, while I want it cleaner and only show on the unit plans.

I don't think its possible but a quick work around would be to assign different color pens to the door ID's on the modules and to the ones in the project. Then create a pen set were the colors of the IDs for the modules are white to use on the drawings that do not need them shown and another set for when you need them shown.
